Joanne Orizal is an Orlando immigration attorney exclusively practicing immigration law since 1987. As a former partner of Winston & Strawn, a global law firm, Joanne was responsible for the administration and direction of the immigration department within the Employment and Labor Group.
As a valued member of the Pozo Goldstein, LLP team, Joanne now represents multinational corporations seeking permanent resident status and employment-based visas for employees. Joanne is instrumental in analyzing cases in the preparation of nonimmigrant visa applications, including categories E, H, L, P, and O, as well as visas for athletes and performers and TN visas. Thanks to her experience with corporate clients, Joanne has had the opportunity to conduct I-9 compliance audits and has assisted clients in preparing internal policy manuals and implementing internal auditing procedures.
She also helps assess her clients’ business structures and provides counsel for creating immediate and long-term immigration strategies. In addition to serving corporate clients, Joanne also represents individual clients with family-based immigration matters and provides counsel on various issues, including I-601 waivers.
Furthermore, Joanne also has extensive experience in strategizing permanent resident processing via the permanent alien program, as well as other immigrant visa classifications including National Interest Waivers and the EB-1 categories for Aliens of Extraordinary Ability in the Arts, Sciences and Business.
