As a child of immigrant parents, Attorney Teresita Rodriguez understands the strong desire to attain the American Dream. From a young age, she developed the sense of urgency to help others struggling through similar situations. Her mother was born in Cuba and moved to the United States under Operation Peter Pan, a large exodus that helped unaccompanied minors in Cuba travel to the United States between 1960 and 1962. Her father was Cuban and a political prisoner for 17 years during Fidel Castro’s regime. Because she saw her parents struggle to attain freedom, Attorney Rodriquez is dedicated to helping others achieve their American Dreams.
Prior to joining Pozo Goldstein, LLP, Attorney Rodriguez attended Florida International University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science. During that time, she also minored in Economics, International Relations, Health Services Administration, and Psychology. Immediately after completing her undergraduate coursework, she enrolled in Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center where she earned her Juris Doctorate.
Currently, she is a member of the Florida Bar. She is zealous in her fight to help other individuals and their families achieve successful, comfortable, and happy futures.
